The Walk for Memories
Kenny's Pond transformed into the meeting grounds for the Walk for Memories on the last Sunday in May. The focus of the walk was to encourage individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease, families, caregivers and members of the community to come out in support of people who are living with the disease. Volunteers and staff from the Alzheimer's Society were on hand with information on the disease and snacks for participants who took part in the Walk for Memories.
