The group helped to raise $240,000 for Children's Wish in just hours!
Generous Donation to Children's Wish
The members of the Newfoundland & Labrador Road Builders/Heavy Civil Association, Water & Sewer Section have been holding their annual charity auction for the Children’s Wish Foundation since 1996. 2010 was their best year yet! On January 14, 2010 the auction raised over $86,000.00 in memory of member Walter Myrden and Matthew Fagan, combined with donations from members for a grand total of over $240,000 in just a matter of hours!!
During the past 15 years the Newfoundland & Labrador Road Builders/Heavy Civil Association, Water & Sewer Section have contributed over $820,000.00 to the Foundation to grant the favorite wish to children with high risk life-threatening illnesses in Newfoundland & Labrador!
