Model Citizens' 2nd Annual Yard Sale
Model Citizens held its annual Yard Sale in the depths of February as a reminder that Winter will eventually end, so why not just have fun! It featured tons of fun retro decor and kitsch, from AstroTurf on the floors to B-Movies on TV, Retro snacks and beverages, prizes, music and more.
It was a fun community event with great deals on merchandise for those who wanted to do a bit of shopping as well. The most popular promotion of the day was "Hide The Spam", wherein a can of Spam was hidden somewhere in the store. The 'finder' received an automatic 50% off! It was a tonne of fun for all involved, and a nice way for Model Citizens to say thanks to its community and customers while getting rid of the winter blues.
