Culinary Team Holds Fundraiser for Competition

The Newfoundland Culinary Team is a group of six chefs traveling to PEI to compete in the Atlantic Culinary Exhibition in March. The talented chefs hail from local restaurants such as 7, PJ Billington's, Smitty's, Press & Bean and Duck on Water.

Throughout February, the team hosted several opportunities for the community to experience a taste of what they're preparing for competition. The four-course dinners were held at Duck on Water where team member Mathieu Aubin is the Executive Chef. The team hopes to win at the Atlantic division so they can continue to compete against winners from the West and Central divisions. After the national round, the winning team will compete on the international level as Canada's representative.
