Figure Skating Regionals
Figuring skating clubs represented by Mount Pearl, Prince of Wales, C.B.S., Bell Island and St Pierre took part in a figure skating competition at the Jack Byrne Arena in Torbay. This friendly competition included 150 skaters from the Avalon region and gave the skaters an opportunity to practice and compare their routines, spend time with friends and swap their tricks of the trade. When SNAP popped by, skaters, volunteers and audience members all seemed to be having a fantastic time. And although our eyes were glued to the ice where we saw some of the most amazing jumps and twirls, we did managed to grab a couple of shots to prove just how much fun everyone was having!
